SOMETIMES GOD'S LOVE COMES FULL CIRCLE.
About a year ago, I found myself discussing the rising costs of utilities with a former client. She had been a client of mine on an adolescent unit in the 1980's,and we have kept intouch all of these years. She said that she would send me a HEAP (Heat Energy Assistance Program) application, as she had an extra one available.
After completing, and then sending in the application, I was put on a budget system for my electric bill payment. Then, about a month later, I received a letter that my home had been chosen, as one of the HEAP participants, to be assessed by the Home Winterization Program. After a four hour home evaluation, recommendations were made to upgrade my heating system, to improve the overall energy efficiency of my 1977 electric home.
From this home evaluation/review, I received a brand new furnace which was installed a few weeks ago...just in time for all of the cold, and snowy weather.
Years ago, God used me to bless, and guide this client. Years later, He used her to bless me, and my home, with her kindness and concern in sending me the HEAP application.
I am amazed, and overwhelmed with joy and appreciation for the gift of a client that has changed the direction of her life, and the gift that she has now brought to me...a warm, and safe home.
And I know from this experience, as I have from others, that God has always allowed me to see that when you give to others from your heart, that what you share of yourself, and your knowledge, blessingsalways return to you a thousand fold...and more.
